William C. Klindt, MD
Dr. Klindt has been practicing medicine for over 20 years, serving children, adolescents, and young adults coping with mental health issues. His mission is to provide compassionate, person-centered care to his patients. Dr. Klindt offers a breadth of knowledge and experience to the field of psychiatry with specialized training and experience in child and adolescent psychiatry, integrative psychiatry, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation and Brain SPECT Imaging. He is affiliated with the Christian Counseling Center in San Jose. He also works closely with Dr. Amen’s Clinic in providing SPECT referrals, interpreting scans, and developing treatment plans based on the SPECT results. He believes in treating the whole person, taking into account lifestyle, nutrition, family dynamics, spirituality, emotional issues, social engagement, as well as neuro-biological factors. Dr. Klindt then received his medical training in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the Oral Roberts University School of Medicine and returned to California for Internship and Residency training in Psychiatry at University of California at San Francisco. He is one of only a handful of psychiatrists in the world to be qualified and licensed to perform and interpret Brain SPECT imaging as it applies to Psychiatry.
